What are the prospects of being able to auto-enroll users in my Discourse channel (like we have here as users of the Pickaxe Platform)? My understanding is this is quite straightward but obviously it either requires access ot the backend code of the Pickaxe platform or an API.
What exactly do you want to do? You want to auto-enroll users from your Studio into a discourse? I believe that will be a difficult. If you want to do account-syncing you’ll need to sign up for Discourse’s most expensive tier, I believe.
Ideally I’m looking for SSO integration to DiscourseConnect (or a similar community platform). Its $100 a month for this integration (not the most expesnive tier).
The way I have used this previously is to have the account automatically created and signed into when a user sets up a Wordpress account. I do this with a pretty basic wordpress plugin.
I’d be happy with any method of passing a ‘signed in’ hash to a third party service so I can align my support workflow to my pickaxe workflow.
