There are a lot of questions here on memory and variables etc.
How about simplified version of memgpt? When in promt I could set criteria on how bot should identify what to write in long term memory and what not. Also retrieval criteria promts.
Memory should be user specific.
Is this possible?

Using natural language prompting, you set the things you want your Pickaxe to remember.

You can try and it will work! I don’t know what type of results you will get.
The way the memory system works is it’s a prompt that looks at the entire conversation history and then remembers whatever you have instructed it to remember.
