X.com Tweet Bot using Pickaxe

I would like my Pickaxe Chat bot to be able to be an X chat bot that can send out automated tweets several times per day. Are you building such a functionality?

  1. Most importantly it sends out automated tweets.

  2. Secondarily it responds to those who interact with it by those that use @ towards it’s X handle or whom Comment under the Tweets that it posts.

I feel this would be a great feature. If the Devs at Pickaxe could find an easy way to make this process work effectively and integrate it into your dashboard.

I would look to see what tools exist to post to social media that provide an api and then see if you can set up a Pickaxe action to do what you need.

Getting it to respond might be a process outside of Pickaxe l’s current limitation because it would need to run in the background in a way that I don’t think is possible presently.

You can probably build a simple Action to cover the social media posting part of this request.

The thing you will not be able to do is have it automatically run at even intervals throughout a day. We don’t have that functionality.

But if you could connect your pickaxe to something like Hubspot and produce a couple dozen tweets then, ideally, the pickaxe integration could also engage with Hubspot’s scheduling tool.

Alternatively, you could just hop into the Hubspot equivalent and set the schedule with all the posts loaded in by the Pickaxe.

Hi @afterawakening, you can create an action for the X posts but then you will need to run a Make scenario programmatically to retrieve the comments though the X apis and generate responses.

Alternatively, you can also build an action in Pickaxe to retrieve the comments and respond (although I believe it requires a bit of coding).
