How can I use multiple prompts in one Pickaxe?

In ChatGPT I built a Custom GPT to help me write my weekly newsletter. I’m wondering how to do it in Pickaxe. I’m looking for an overall approach.

In my custom GPT, I go through a series of steps:

Step 1: Gather Initial Data.
(I assume I’d start with a Pickaxe form.)

  • What is the issue number?
  • What is the anticipated publication date?
  • What is your working title?
  • What is the problem you’re trying to solve for the reader?
  • What is the solution?

Once the user answers these questions, the GPT begins to write the newsletter, step-by-step.

Step 2: Research Keywords.

The GPT does some keyword research on the topic and proposes three to use in the article. The user then confirms these three or can add his own.

Step 3: Find opening anecdote.

I always like to start my newsletter with a story that sets up the problem. The GPT first searches all my books, courses, podcast transcripts, etc., which I’ve uploaded as Knowledge. If it can’t find an appopriate one, it searches the web for a third-party anecdote.

I’ll give the following steps, without commentary. I just want to communicate all the steps to see if Pickaxe can handle this kind of prompting.

Step 4. Write article premise.

Step 5. Create the outline.

Step 6. Write the article.

Step 7: Create a hook.

Step 6. Brainstorm titles.

With each step, the user has the opportunity to interact and iterate with the GPT. Once he’s happy with each step, he tells the GPT, and the GPT moves to the next step.

How would I approach this with PickAxe?

You would just add this into the prompt, just as you did in the GPT builder on OpenAI. Pickaxe works in much the same way. It’s quite good at understanding which step it’s on and when to move on to the next one.
