I want to learn about all the features in Pickaxe

Hi all

I bought a Pickaxe life time deal and have built some tools specifically for facilitators. But, I don’t think I am getting the full value from Pickaxe, even on my current level.

A number of features have gone over my head and I’d love to learn more about how to get the best out of my Pickaxes, not just for the ones I have built but also for future collaboration opportunities I have identified, ultimately generating repeatable revenue.

I’d like to learn from the best, so if you coach/mentor users like me, to help them with the features of Pickaxes and Studios (e.g. how to format PDFs, image reading, how to use MCP servers, etc.), can you give me a shout - thanks!

Hi @kjwatson58,

First, thank you for sharing your experience so openly. I really appreciate how honest your post is, and I promise you, you are not alone! Pickaxe is a wonderful toolkit, but it can definitely feel overwhelming with all the features and possibilities. It sounds like you’re already on a great path by reaching out and looking for ways to grow.

If you’re looking to get even more out of your Pickaxes and turn them into repeatable revenue, here are some things that might help:

  • Pickaxe User Manual: This is their main step-by-step guide, and it covers pretty much everything, from building and formatting to using more advanced features. If you like to read or watch, it has links to video tutorials as well. Here’s the link for you: Pickaxe User Manual.

  • Pickaxe YouTube Channel: If you like to learn by watching, the Pickaxe YouTube channel is full of helpful tutorials, walkthroughs, and inspiration from other creators. It’s a great place to see new features in action and pick up tips at your own pace.

  • Pickaxe Doorman: There’s actually a chatbot called the Doorman on the Pickaxe site that can answer all sorts of quick questions. It’s like a friendly guide whenever you get stuck.

  • Community Mentors and Experts: Pickaxe has experts and coaches who offer one-on-one help, and many of them started out just like you. You can connect with them here: Pickaxe Experts. Of course, you can always keep asking here in the forum as well..there’s a great mix of supportive folks ready to help.

  • Try, Tinker, and Play: Don’t be afraid to experiment in your own studio. The best way to learn is often by just trying things out. The Knowledge Base, Actions tab, and the Studio features are all worth exploring for collaboration and monetization.

  • Ask Anything: You’re always welcome to post specific questions in the community, no matter how small they seem. Someone here is sure to jump in and help. The vibe here is honestly one of the most welcoming I’ve seen.

If you’d like a personal walkthrough or want to chat with someone who’s been there, just say the word. There are folks in this group who love to help, and I’d be happy to point you in the right direction or connect you with someone.

You’re absolutely in the right community to turn your ideas into something truly valuable and lasting. I hope you enjoy exploring all that Pickaxe has to offer, and that you find the connections and support that help you grow along the way.

Looking forward to seeing what you build next!

Best,
Abhi

Thank you Abhi

I’d love a personal walk through if that can be arranged. As I mentioned in my post, I have built tools but I’m not sure I am getting the best out of Pickaxe as it has some features I know a little about (e.g. MCP servers).

I am a fast learner, so some time with someone that can spend an hour with me would be really useful.

Thanks

Kevin

PS I’ll check out the other resources too.
