Image Tool Not Working

Hi please can you help?

I made an image creation tool with OpenAI API but it keeps producing 2 errors (and not images!):

“Sorry! Looks like we couldn’t generate that image. Please try again.”
(tried with several prompts of simple stuff “strawberry”, “man on beach”

The other error: “Server timeout error reached”

I tried using GPT4o and GPT4.

No dice.

It seems to be failing maybe 25% of the time, here are some examples from me and clients

We recently switched from OpenAI Dalle to Microsoft Azure Dalle. Microsoft azure has MUCH more strict content moderation.

Tomorrow we’re planning to start rolling out our new actions functionality. By the end of the week, there should be more options for what model to choose when generating images, which should be really helpful in dealing with this type of problem. We’ll keep you updated!

Thanks - yeah we’re still getting a lot of images refused that seem totally innocent including the below ones.

So this is just a censorship / moderation issue somehow?

“Create an image, in film noir style, of a man walking his two large guard dogs.”

“2000 Toyota Camry as a Flared Fender Pro Touring Muscle Car”

“A scenic open road with a 1930s Ford hot rod”

“A child at his first soccer practice of the season”

“Landing Page Image for GotBackup”

Thanks

Hope can consider to include Flux1 pro

hell yes Flux would be amazing!

Just added Flux to the platform today. It is now the default image generation model.

Hi, i’m still getting this error “Sorry! Looks like we couldn’t generate that image. Please try again.” Or it does not generate image without any warning. What might be wrong?

Is it happening consistently or inconsistently?

If it’s happening inconsistently, it’s likely either:

  • a problem with the API endpoint for the image generation. In this case, you can’t do anything.
  • a problem with the prompt. The Pickaxe thinks it cannot generate an image when in reality it can. In this case, you should clarify in your prompt about when it should generate an image.

If it’s happening consistently, like everytime, then it is some sort of a bug we will need to explore in more depth to fix.
