Make.com Pickaxe Module!

Recently I found myself wishing there was a Pickaxe module within Make that I could add to my workflows to utilize my Pickaxe within a broader workflow.

This could look like an Elon Musk automated X-post responder-bot that is trained on my writing style – with a meme-generator connected-action.

The Pickaxe can reply with both text and a meme making it 10 times better than connecting an OpenAI assistant module within the workflow!

There is and lots of info in the chat here

You misunderstood me. A Pickaxe module

There currently isn’t one available for use.

@Ned.Malki there are no API’s available for Pickaxe yet so it is not possible to integrate with Make as you describe.

Thanks - yes, I did misunderstand. The first question we get asked when we want to connect to another application is, “Is there an API”.

Same thing applies here. If there was a Pickaxe API, but no real module, you could use the HTTPS Module - but sadly there is not one.

@ab2308 I know. That’s why I posted under feature request. Planting a seed :seedling:

Yes this is the heart of the issue. We need to make Pickaxe’s accessible via API. Which we will be able to do more easily in the new architecture

Wouldn’t you just connect to an ai model directly from make?

Not for my use case idea. Here’s an example:

Let’s say you create a Pickaxe that is trained on your brand voice, you attach several URLs and PDFs to its database and you configure it to churn out content in your writing style.
Then you want to create a Make workflow similar to:

Instagram webhook (watch for comments) > Your Pickaxe (Brand voice reply generator) > Instagram response WH (Post comment).

The way I imagine my Pickaxe within this example is a replacement for creating OpenAI Assistants and hosting my documents on OpenAI - effectively centralizing/streamlining some of my Make automations revolving around work on Pickaxe.
