Is it possible to run aan audio file within a pickaxe ?

It’s not possible to run an audio file in Pickaxe or to upload an audio file into your Pickaxe. However, you can add youtube videos, which are uploaded as audio transcripts.

So if you have a long audio file (like a podcast or interview) that you want to put into a GPT’s knowledge base, I would suggest uploading it to Youtube, then putting that link into the tool. This post explains in more detail how to add a Youtube video into a GPT or chatbot’s knowledge base.

i have the exact same need. i want to upload audio files into Pickaxe.

Lindsay at Pickaxe told me that if we want Pickaxe to add the ability to upload audio files, then we should post this request in the “Features Request” section and not in other community sections like General. Apparently, they don’t want users to discuss feature requests in other section. I sent her a screenshot of users wanting to upload audio files. Then she replied and said: “none of the posts shown are in the “Feature Requests” section, which is where users can upvote potential site changes. It’s really helpful for us to see votes on issues so we have a sense of how to prioritize updates.”

So, if we want Pickaxe to add the ability to upload audio files and use audio related actions via models like Reka AI, then we need to upvote existing posts and create more posts in the Features Request section.
