Selling pickaxes to companies

I have a question on I can sell a pickaxe to companies that they can then monetise on their own sites?

So for example, if it was a real estate bot which allowed to create a sales PDF for you house. The company would have the studio on their domain and the users would pay to use it, but how would I be able to monetise it. If that makes sense.

Essentially, I want to be able to sell the tools to companies so they can monetise them themselves. Is this possible?

What you could do is sell the tech to your client for $x and have it setup for them to collect the money - but you need access to their stripe account for setup purposes. It is not really setup for doing this.

It would work better if they had their own subscription and you charge them to build the pickaxes for them.

I would set it up for them, but have them setup their stripe account, but leave the studio in your account and charge them monthly for updates and support, similar to how a web developer charges to maintain and update a website…

Don’t forget to tell them about the platform fee pickaxe takes from each sale!

Thanks for the replies. I kind of thought this might be the case. At the moment it isn’t a problem as all the tools we will be using internally but it would definitely be really useful to be able to deploy them to other companies at some point. Perhaps by creating sub accounts which they subscribe to monthly, where you would have agency control and then the pickaxes are deployed on their sub account meaning you get the monthly fee and they get fees from use of the pickaxe? Pickaxe would also get their commission on both agency and sub account levels. They may already be planning something like this perhaps? :clap:t2::pray:t2:

We have a big update planned for February, which includes the ability to add collaborators to studios/pickaxes—as well as the ability to transfer ownership.

If you’d like to be a part of the beta testing of this system, shoot me an email at ian@pickaxeproject.com

@clojobobo currently I create an account for the client and charge a monthly maintenance fee. Things might change with the new release where you could be a collaborator but the monetization strategy will be similar as you won’t have the ability to have white labelled sub accounts (e.g. GHL)

Another option is if the studio/chatbots connect to a third party automation tool (e.g. Make). In this case you can charge for the automation solution and host the automation on your account.
