Token Purchase Issue preventing clients from using tool?

We’re facing a critical issue right now with our bot service!

You just moved the option to buy new tokens from the old version (V1) to the new one!

Over 130 paying users that are currently on our pickaxe V1 can’t use our pickaxe because we’re out of tokens and can’t buy new ones!

This is significantly impacting our service and requires immediate attention. We need this resolved ASAP as it’s affecting a large number of our active users..

We’re still on V1, and this issue needs to be fixed immediately.

We already spoke with Nathaniel on Zoom 2-3 weeks ago. We have a large user base on Pickaxe, and migrating everything to V2 would take at least 3 more weeks before we can even switch to production. (We’re facing some technical difficulties preventing an immediate migration.)

Hi @gursh the PA devs Stephen and Vlad you pinged are the right people who can diagnose your issue.

I also wouldn’t recommending using if you have multiple different pickaxes with specific Knowledge Bases. v2 - auto-combines all them all together into the Studio and makes the files unmanageable.

Can you explain more what you mean by “we’re out of tokens and can’t buy new ones”.

Are you using an API Key from a model provider (like OpenAI or Anthropic) and have run of credit on their platform? If so, on both platforms you are able to configure it to re-load your balance whenever you get to a certain number of dollars left on the balance.

Or are you using Pickaxe credits? If so, I suggest you buy a large bundle of credits. If you’re usage is higher than 4500 credits a month, i would highly recommend you to use your own API key. This will be faster and cheaper in the long run.
