Wanting to understand the Knowledge base chunk explorer

I am looking at upgrading to pro for more accurate KB pulling, I just want to know what it enables you to do.

  • Am I able to edit what the system sees as a chunk?
  • What else does it enable you to edit?
  • Is there a way force a chunk separation using specific characters to possibly avoid me having to upgrade?

With Pro, you are able to edit the chunks themselves in our system. So yes, you can edit what the system will end up seeing directly, which is pretty powerful.

Pro has a number of benefits. Specifically with the document system, unlimited documents, and the ability to edit or delete individual chunks is big.

No way to force a chunk separation by characters. However, if you upload a properly formatted CSV or excel sheet, it will take each row as a chunk, even without Pro. So you can curate externally to the system with a bit of extra work.
