Pickaxe uses Stripe Connect to handle transactions in our Studios. Stripe provides a list of countries that should work, but we’ve just heard back from them that there are some exceptions to that list.
Studio monetization may be impossible in UAE (with some caveats), Brazil, India (account creation restricted for non-Indian platforms), Moldova (no Moldova connect accounts can be created by a US platform), Mexico, Malaysia, Indonesia, Guatemala, South Africa, and Thailand.
We are investigating other payment options, but for now these are our limitations.
