I am trying to edit the text color in my chat box…it is currently white text on white background, so it is not showing up (see below). I don’t see any option to edit this in the design section. Thank you!

Hi Ned! Me again…I have a question about showing the prompt when the chatbox opens. Currently, it says “Talk to Pappy.” Is there a way I can customize this to be more specific or to automatically have a bot ask a question when the box is opened? I have this prompt set up on the chat preview, but it looks like it isn’t showing up.

Currently, there are two options to show a user prompt/welcome message on Pickaxe.

Intro message (which is like the one you currently have) + Ice breaker questions (you can add up to 3 FAQs to assist your users to quickly start a chat). This can be found under the ‘Prompt’ section in every Pickaxe configuration page:

A placeholder text, which can be seen inside the text box where users write their messages (before they type anything). You can configure from under the ‘Configure’ tab:
