With the “Enable chat responses” on, the chat field for users to interact sometimes is not getting displayed…
In the image above, you can see the end of a new output and, right below it, the beginning of an old output without a chat field in between them for the user to be able to respond to the new output.
Above is the screenshot confirming that pickaxe, which is not showing the chat, has the chat enabled in the settings.
Please help, thanks
The enable chat worked for me. It opens. What exactly is not working? It’s not opening up?
after the pickaxe provides the first result there is no chat field for the user to interact, as it shows in the screenshot I provided
Ah, when you enable “go to chat” it creates a button that allows users to ‘go to chat’. When they click this button, it opens up the response in a chat window. It’s somewhat subtle.
That’s cool, but if I didn’t get it at first, my users won’t either. Cool design, I understand your approach, but not a good UI/UX
What about… writing “Click Here To Open Chat” before the “go to chat” button? Or even better, without ruining your design, create a small modal window that pops open as soon as the user ends scrolling the first output with an arrow saying “Click Here To Open Chat And Continue The Conversation” or something like that

Problem with that, users in all languages use our tool, sometimes in white labeled contexts. Using words works in some places, but we try not to stick words where we can avoid them.
Thanks for your input though @casteleiro!
We’ll eventually revisit this design as more than a few users have mentioned it is too subtle. But that won’t be until we finish some bigger design work across the rest of the platform.
I understand your point
What about…
Chat
( O) Enable chat responses (i)
( O) Enable modal message for chat icon (i)
You can modify below the modal message
[Click_Here_To_Open_Chat]
Please notice that there’s a disconnect when opening the chat, the AI doesn’t remember what was the conversation/form-output about.
How to replicate:
User fills a form, the AI responds and runs out of space, user clicks the chat icon to open the chat, enters “please continue”… But the AI doesn’t now anything!! Instead of continuing the chat it acts like it is a totally new conversation.
PLease help, thanks
@admin_mike and @nathanielmhld - I’ve got to second this feature request. This is such a cool feature but there is NO WAY my users are going to spot this tiny button and understand that they CAN even carry on a conversation, let alone how. I’d like an option that defaults the chat field to just be open after the user submits the form data. This feature of having form fields which then START an interactive conversation is unique in the marketplace - please capitalize on it! I have a list of functionality/enhancement requests for these form bots as I think they could be incredibly valuable for my users. Thanks!
