Forms way of working strange

I have a very basic form and just started to use them. Saw the latest video TY.
I get asked for my name which is all good, but then I have to get the user to click on the small icon to get a conversation window to appear. I can tell you that a decade of doing forms and addressing user input they will often not do it or see it. What am I missing… Imgur: The magic of the Internet

What I would expect is after the user enters their name there are no more fields I want then the conversation to start around this without the need to click a conversation icon. This ‘speech bubble’ icon.

Hi @landed they are aware of this but would be great if you could post a feature requests unless @admin_mike confirms it is something that can easily pushed with an update.

You’re not the first to mention this button is too subtle. For now, we implemented a quick version of ‘go-to-chat’ so that users could use it. In the future, we may design it so it automatically kicks out to chat and other options.

Please bring it up in the meetings!

Having the form “automatically kicks out to chat” would be ideal. In the meantime adding a tooltip for those buttons would be helpful.

One issue with continuing forms into chats, is you then have to ‘build a chatbot’ at the same time as a form. Interesting design issue for us to think about it. Right now the feature exists without a dedicated builder to the idea.
