How are credits tracked and measured?

Hi all. I think my pickaxes are tracking credits incorrectly. Prior to the V2 my credits seemed to be 1 credit per run through a tool. Now it seems like its tracking credits PER response.

Seems off and obviously expensive per conversational exchange with the bot.

Is this a known issue?

The way the system works is every time the AI generates a response, it costs 1 credit. That is how it has always worked. This blog post explains how the AI credit system works in more detail if you’re curious.
