Is the following setup possible with a Pickaxe studio and form pickaxe

I’m looking to create a Pickaxe form that helps me capture and refine daily work challenges, with the goal of building a structured dataset for long-term pattern analysis. Here’s a high-level overview of what I’m trying to achieve:

Desired Workflow:

  1. Each day, I fill out a form describing a work challenge
  2. The AI assistant summarizes my description and asks clarifying questions
  3. Through a few rounds of refinement, the AI helps me get to the core issue
  4. The final, structured summary is automatically saved for future analysis

Form Fields I’m Considering:

  • Challenge Description (main text field to capture the issue)
  • Context (project or area involved)
  • Stakeholders (who was impacted)
  • Urgency (low/medium/high)
  • Challenge Type (communication, resource, process, technical, etc.)

AI Interaction:

  • Summarize the initial description concisely
  • Ask a few targeted questions to identify root causes and clarify details
  • Prompt for confirmation that the summary captures the key points
  • Iterate as needed until I approve the final version

Output:

  • Ideally, the AI would format the final summary with clear section headings
  • This structured data would then automatically save to a Google Sheet for easy analysis

My Questions:

  1. Is this a workflow that can be fully implemented in Pickaxe? I know some elements like auto-populated fields aren’t possible.
  2. What form fields and AI settings would you recommend to achieve my goals as closely as possible?
  3. Any tips for structuring the AI prompts to get high-quality summaries and pattern identification?
  4. How would you suggest setting up the Google Sheets integration for clean, analyzable data capture?
  5. Any other best practices or considerations to keep in mind?

Appreciate any insights from those who have built similar tools! My end goal is having a clean, categorized dataset that I can use to surface recurring issues and areas for improvement in my work.

Hi @ad_casey,

Yes, you can definitely achieve this in Pickaxe.

My only suggestion would be to use Airtable instead of Google Sheetif you want to easily access the information from an AI agent / Pickaxe later on.
