My PickAxe Button freezes and I can't move forward

I’m having trouble with my Pickaxes, for some reason, and sometimes the chat assistant I’m creating won’t let me reply. The Send Button freezes. This happens specifically in the embedded code.

Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening?

I tried with Chrome and Brave and it still gives me the same problem.

Dang, that’s not good. We’ve been noticing some funny things happening with embeds recently. How often does this happen? Is it happening specifically in Pickaxes with Actions—or just any Pickaxe?

Do you notice any other patterns as to when it does or doesn’t occur?

We’re working on a fix now, so any more information would be helpful. Sorry for the trouble!

HI,

Yes, it seems to happen when the chat is generating a message.

I Mean, I noticed that the chat does not finish sending the message to the user who is using the PickAxe, this button freezes, because of course, it has not finished sending the result message, the problem is that: First, the chat does not finish generating the message, and second I cannot stop the generation to write something again.

Thank you for reporting this issue. I’m currently working on fixing it.
We will notify you once it has been resolved.

Yes Please! Thanks for your help!

Hey all, I created a pickaxe for my clients to use. I tested the embed specifically 5-10 times before I went live with clients.

It did NOT freeze for me during test, but it did freeze when I went live with clients.

-I embedded it into a membership site (Circle).
-I revealed it to them today. We all walked through it together. They were chatting at the same time.

  • 8 people used the tool.
  • it froze for 2 people
  • 1 dropped the call, the other refreshed his screen and was able to continue - but lost his chat.

The chat functions as an interviewer and ends with a summary - so if the chat freezes in the middle my client can’t get their summary - and they have to refresh and start over (frustrating).

While a solution is being developed, is there a best practice I can follow to protect my client from having to refresh and start over?

What do you mean by the embed froze? Did it freeze in the middle of generating an answer? Or did it freeze in the same way as the video in this post where the send button froze?

It froze like the video above. I send the video to my client to ask “is this what happened?” and he confirmed.
