Hello, Im new here and a bit inexperienced, but maybe someone can help me?
I am working on a tool to generate addresses from Korean to English and vice versa.

When I change the order of the Korean address, it just gives me the same address still in Korean.
When I change the order of the address in English, even if all the details are there, it tells me that the address is incomplete

what am i doing wrong?

this is my prompt at the moment:

  • Address Components: The address must always include the following in no specific order:
  • Province (e.g., 서울/Seoul, 부산/Busan)
  • City (e.g., 강남구/Gangnam-gu)
  • Street (e.g., 테헤란로/Teheran-ro)
  • House number (e.g., 152)
  • Language Detection and Conversion:
  • If the address is in Korean (Hangul), convert it to English (Romanized).
  • If the address is in English (Romanized), convert it to Korean (Hangul).
  • Validation:
  • Incomplete Address: If any of the required components (province, city, street, house number) are missing, do not translate. Instead, return the error message:
    “The address is incomplete. Please make sure you added all the necessary details.”
  • Order of Details:
  • The order of the components in the address should be ignored. It does not matter whether the address is written in English or Korean in the correct order; the tool should still be able to translate as long as all necessary components are included.
  • Response Format:
  • If the address in english is complete, return the translated address in korean
    If the address in korean is complete, return the translated address in english
  • If the address is incomplete, return the error message mentioned above.

Have you tried telling it to do in the follow order
1,2,3,4 etc for English and 2,1,4,3 for Korean?

It’s hard to comment in detail without knowing the full use case. In general, I would suggest adding two sections to the prompt that explain proper formatting.

Something like this:
