RAG not retrieving anything from a JSON file

I have what I think is a very well-formatted JSON file in my knowledge base, and when I explore it, it’s very neatly organized. However, I cannot for the life of it make the system fetch ANYTHING from it, on any query, no matter what the relevance settings. What could be going on?
