(SOLVED) How can you auto-upgrade current customers to new pickaxes with better AI models? - V2 allows change of Live PickAxes to new LLMs

Is there a way to automatically upgrade current customers to the same product, PickAxe, but that is the V2 version with a higher ChatGPT model?

At the moment you would just have to duplicate that pickaxe and put it on a different model.

Thanks for responding. I thought so, but I am unsure how to move everyone on a paid Stripe subscription for the outdated PickAxe to the new one. Do we just put the new AI Tool under the product name of the original that is on the paid Stripe subscription so they will start to have multiple of the same AI tools at their disposal and call it V2, etc?

I believe your studio would have already been moved over to the New Pickaxe architecture. You should just need to update the LLm to a new model inside the tool itself.

Ah, okay. So you don’t even need to duplicate PickAxes anymore; you can just go in and change the paid PickAxe to a different model that everyone was initially subscribed to?

If I understand your use case, you wouldn’t really want to duplicate the Pickaxes with the prior version either.

In the past, there have been a few good reasons to duplicate Pickaxes: to create different versions of the same tool within a studio, or to use past work as a template for a new Pickaxe were my primary examples personally.

But if you just want to update a Pickaxe to use a different LLM or perhaps work better then usually you would want to keep the same Pickaxe intact so that any traffic going to it wouldn’t be disturbed.

I just tested and I can edit the paid PickAxe tool and change the LLM. Thanks!
