Sonnet 3.5, 3.7 really struggle with retaining memory of previous messages in the same chat. Any ideas? Literally gets confused with the just a single follow up question
Hi @riskacademy did you try to adjust your memory buffer settings to accommodate long chat sessions?
Yes, set to it maximum, then to default, didn’t really make any difference
Hello @riskacademy, are you using a published Pickaxe or you’re testing it in the builder? I only encountered this issue in the builder. Try it in the published Pickaxe.
Having the issue with published
Are you only experiencing this issue with Sonnet 3.7? If you move the same Pickaxe to a a different model do you still experience?
Clause 3.5 and 3.7, both.
Thanks Mike, I’ve migrated to the new version and was stunned that 3.5 and 3.7 now requires pro. Please allow us to bring our own keys, it’s very important to use these models.
I’m hoping that 3.5 and 3.7 requiring Pro subscription on the redesign is just an oversight. Not being able to access the most recent models will dramatically reduce Pickaxe’s value for me. I’m fine with bringing my own API key if they are mainly concerned with LTD users credits over time.
Great, the original problem still not addressed
I am unable to replicate this issue where Claude forgets the previous context. If you can help me replicate the issue I can solve it better.
Using Claude regularly (outside PA) to develop using long files and memory no issue. It remembers a lot!
Where can I find this setting?
Can’t find it unlike with V1. Been trying to find it in V2. Thank you
