I’ve noticed a strange bug and wondered if anyone else is experiencing this.
This is not the first time it’s happened so I ran a test:
Yesterday I created the membership tiers as planned:
Guest - Free 24 uses
Member - 100 uses
Member - Unlimited Uses
However today, after some changes to pickaxes, folders and modifications to studio (but no edits by myself to membership options) - a new guest tier has been created with 0 uses. Has this happened to anyone else?
Huh. Very strange! We will check this out. @stephenasuncion we should take a look at this.
thanks @admin_mike @stephenasuncion . It happened again today.
It could be related to creating or adding pickaxes to folders. That’s all I’ve done today which triggered a new tier to be created (the newly created tier had two pickaxes I was working on included within it).
Hi @intheday,
What happened was your member tier was renamed to “Guest” for some reason, we’ll have to investigate further to see if there was any issue with our end.
Can you please confirm if you still want the following tiers (so we can fix your tiers accordingly):
Guest - Free 24 uses
Member - 100 uses
Unlimited - Unlimited Uses
For now, we’re just going to rename your member tier to “Member” instead of “Guest”.
Slightly confused here!
Did you see the video I sent to @admin_mike ? I’ll DM to you now just in case
Ahh got it!
What happens is when you add a new pickaxe it will automatically have access to all tiers hence why the member tier named “Guest” tier (which I now renamed back to Member) re-appeared in the list of tiers.
If you remove the new Pickaxe(s) from the Pickaxes offered list or simply click the trash button again, it should get rid of the member tier from the list of tiers.
Some side note… these is how we call tiers:
Guest tier - for logged out users
Member tier - for free logged in users
Paid tiers - for paid logged in users
