That refers to the revenue share. If you use our monetization system with the studio, then we take a small revenue share of the money you earn. So for every $10 in revenue you make in a studio, Pickaxe gets $1.

I have to agree with Arm here. 10% is super high when we already pay 2.9% for payment processing. So, essentially, we are paying 13% before we profit from the rest.
A fairer amount for your second Tier would be 5-8%, and your third Tier would be 3-5%. Also, we would have the option to pay for a more expensive Tier as we grow to get the take rate down to 0%.
What you have created is brilliant, but with an 8-10% take rate plus CC processing, it is a little much when we already pay you monthly. I have never seen a high take rate unless we aren’t getting charged monthly. For example, GumRoad charges 10% per sale but has no monthly fees. I have seen the highest take rate for software on marketplaces, which is 5% when they charge monthly.
We might drop the take-rate altogether. We’ll see.
