Dear Pickaxe team,
I would like to be able to add paid tiers without having to connect my Stripe account. In addition, if approved, then I would have to be able to manually add or remove users to paid tiers.
In that case the “Get access” button’s url should be editable, e.g. to a webpage with pricing options.
The issue with this feature request is without a paid stripe product connected to a tier there is no “gate” to the tier.
The “Get Access” copy is editable. You can do so by clicking the “Edit Page” button in the top right corner. But you cannot edit their URLs. They, necessarily, link to the page of the studio with the tool on it. This page will either be accessible or have a login popup that blocks it.
Dear @admin_mike,
Thank you for taking the time to address the issues I have raised.
I intend to make the Studio access “invite only” and handle Stripe payment and other management aspects on a website that I have already built. The “gate” to the tiers is addressed by enabling me to assign any of the manually created tiers to users I invite.
Down the road, this kind of workflow could be accommodated through a Pickaxe API, which might enable headless application architecture as well under specific circumstances.
Now, when I ask the button to be editable, of course I want to be able to assign it a url pointing to the website that handles the rest of the functionality.
Best regards.
P.S. I have already managed to embed the Studio through an iframe, but as you point out it loses functionality because cross domain restrictions apply, I guess.
I would like to see something like this, being able to have hidden tiers, like ones for beta testers that i manually add.
