Basic guide on how to enable zapier / make webhooks

Can anyone help me out with a basic guide on how the new Zapier / Make webhook actions work? Is it possible to retrieve certain information about the logged in user via the webhook and then tailor the interaction basis that?

For e.g. if the user opens the chat, can that trigger a webhook that will fetch the user’s name and some key info stored in a database (for simplicity let’s assume Airtable) and then “personalise” the interaction with the user? Is there a better way to achieve this in pickaxe?

Pickaxe just posted this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKrC3LTnfcA

Does this provide enough information or are you looking for a more detailed guide?

Yes, as @intellibotique (a certified expert Pickaxe builder) mentioned you can check out the youtube tutorial we just posted.

To answer your specific question, you cannot have the “chat being opened” serve as the trigger. But you can have the very first message the user sends be the trigger.
