Can Chat be programmed to ask a series of questions then formulate output based on users answers?

Instead of a form, can the chatbot be programmed to ask users a series of questions one at a time to analyze their needs before coming up with a complete output tailored to them? This wouldn’t account for their credit usage until they get the entire output from all the questions they answered. Can we do this with PickAxe chat?

Hi @rainmaker yes it can. You have to program the logical conversation flow into your prompt, and utilize the introduction feature as the 1st question.

Thanks @Ned.Malki Is there a link to a tutorial either documentation or YouTube video for this?

I’m not sure if it had been covered tbh. You can check the Pickaxe YT channel https://youtube.com/@pickaxeai?si=mdN4ryX5ExfIMDAf

If you still need help send me a DM!

Yes - you just need to build your prompt accordingly.

Thanks yes I figured it out already. Is there any way to make sure the questions one at a time don’t count against their uses since you really want to only charge them when the final output is being processed?

You mean, you want to make sure each question is asked sequentially and not repeated. Right?

Thanks Ned! I think this is the answer. I’ll review and see if it works.

Sounds good! Let me know if you need in depth guidance on conversational logic flows for your prompt. I programmed many client chatbots to assume different personalities / maintain a conversational straight line. Just send me a DM if you’re stuck
