we’ll still have to deal with the dollar/euro problem, because it’s preventing sales (as my prospects say). The slightest change in pricing (which I’ve done) puts everything back in US dollars.
The answer has been provided in another thread. You can’t change anything in stripe, the dollars will be back in Pickaxe. Instead, create a new product in stripe and make it available in your Pickaxe / studio, and remove the previous one.
Exactly! Changing the currency is somewhat finicky within Stripe. For anyone lost, we wrote a brief help guide explaining how to change currencies of your products within Stripe.
I created a new studio. Unlink stripe from all studios. I closed my Stripe account and opened a new account. Added a £ product. Then, I linked again to the new studio and created a Stripe product for £. When I add a new tier, I still receive USD amounts as my only choice, although there are no USD products in Stripe. If I choose a USD amount in a new tier, it creates a USD product in Stripe. It is like USD hardcoded in Pickaxe; I can not change it.
The statement below, which is mentioned in the guide, does not happen:
- Once you’ve saved the new price, your studio should automatically reflect the new prices, including the currency symbol.
