ChatBot Pickaxe in Genially : script problem with spacebar

Hello, community!

I’m encountering an issue with Genially. On mobile, when I try to use the spacebar to type in a chatbot that I have integrated into my Genially, it triggers the next-page action instead of creating a space in the text.

This behavior makes it impossible for me to write properly in the chatbot because pressing the spacebar doesn’t add spaces between words—it simply moves to the next page in the presentation.

I’ve tried to address this by modifying and improving the script, following suggestions from GPT, but unfortunately, it didn’t resolve the problem.

Does anyone have an idea or a solution for this?

Thank you very much for your help!

To understand the issue more clearly, you have your Pickaxe embedded into another website called Genially, and when you click “spacebar” while typing in the embedded Pickaxe, it triggers Genially’s next page action?

Hey Mike, thanks for your help. Yes, in my Genially, I can add the script of my Pickaxe chatbot and it appears well, but the normal behavior on Genially is : when I click on “spacebar”, I go to the next page.

Problem : in the pickaxe chatbot, I can’t use “sparebar” to write correctly… it triggers Genially’s next page action, as you said.

Hey Nivek, this sounds like it’s an issue with Genially reading into the iframe. I’m not sure how to fix it. I would ask ChatGPT. Maybe there is a line of code you can add to the iframe embed or something.
