I'm Out of Options – I'm Begging and Willing to Pay to Help Me Solve the PayPal Integration Issue

I want to start by saying I love what Pickaxe is building. I’ve been a loyal user on their Pro plan for nearly a year now, and I’ve created some truly awesome tools on the platform — tools I’m proud of and that people genuinely find value in.

But I’m writing this today out of deep frustration and, honestly, desperation.

From day one, I’ve been begging for an internal PayPal integration. I’ve posted about it multiple times, and one of those posts even caused a wave of backlash in our community. People were hopeful — myself included — that the new API would finally make PayPal monetization possible. I poured time, energy, and thousands of dollars into trying to build a workaround through the Pickaxe API.

But after months of trial, dev costs, and false hope, it’s now clear: PayPal integration is still impossible through Pickaxe.

I’m a digital nomad — I can’t open a Stripe account because I don’t have access to a Canadian phone number or Address that Stripe requires. And that means, after a full year, I still have no way to monetize my tools on Pickaxe. I have tried every way I can think of with no success.

I’ve reached the end of my rope. I’m begging the Pickaxe team: please, please prioritize a real PayPal integration. You have creators here who are fully committed to the platform and who want to succeed. But we can’t keep hitting a brick wall.

And to the community — if anyone out there has found a workaround, or is willing to brainstorm with me, I’d be so grateful. I’m not looking for pity. I’m just a creator trying to survive and build something meaningful, and I need help.

Thank you for reading.

Did you try Twilio for the Canadian Number or any of the Phone Apps that give you a second line?
