Sending Unbranded Links

I want to send ‘demo’ chatbots to prospective customers for them to test initially with a view to sell them and charge monthly to manage the bot. My question is this…Is there a way to send a link, but without the Pickaxe branding? I have a studio set up with my main domain name to sell multiple bots, can I send it as a test via that but restrict access to just the business I’m targeting, and of course with my domain name?

You can absolutely send white-labeled ‘demo’ chatbots to prospective customers without Pickaxe branding.

You have two options:

If you already have a studio with the chatbot in it, then the second option is a good idea. Within the studio designate a certain amount of guests uses, let’s say 10 yses, which will give them enough usage to try the studio out and understand the value. Then create a paid tier which they can sign up for.

Regarding how to to white-label a Studio…

  • Check out this post about how to add a custom domain to a Studio.
  • You can remove Pickaxe labeling in your Studio in the Studio Manager under Design > Content (see screenshot)

Thanks, Mike. That’s helped

@admin_mike is there a video on how to white label? If not can you explain a bit more- I want to make bots for our clients to put on their website without our clients going around us to you directly. Also is there a way to white label the Semantic Forge, Pickaxe Generator and the Automatic AI builder? Please advise and have a great day.

Hey nancy, I can make a video about it. Out of curiosity, it would help to know what aspects of white-labeling are you having trouble with or want to know more about?

@admin_mike thanks for the note and also for the question. So let me start with what I do know.

  1. If I put my studio on my own custom domain, my clients who subscribe to my tiers on my domain to use my bots only see my domain.

  2. If I have a corporate client who wants me to make bots on their studio for them to put on their website and charge the users who go to their website and use their bots. When I put their studios on their website:
    a) Do they see pickaxe anywhere or what do they see on their end in their dns etc?
    b) Will they have their own stripe account on their studio and payment goes to THEM(and then they pay me) or ME(and then I pay them)?
    c) Am I able to white label the Pickaxe Creator Pickaxe Builder
so that my clients can use the three ways to create a bot and they do not see the pickaxe site?

Hey Nancy, The short answer to all your questions in #2 is it is up to you. There are a ton of ways to do this. Here’s a little more detail.

In their DNS settings, they will see exactly what you see in your DNS settings when you set up a custom domain. So if you’re adding 76.76.21.21, then they will be adding that as well.

You can set up the Stripe configurations however you want. If you want them to connect their Stripe account directly to the studio, then presumably they will encounter Pickaxe when they set it up.

You cannot white-label the entire Pickaxe Builder. But you could create your own Pickaxe that writes prompts for users.

got it! definitely food for thought. Calling all other brainiacs in the house - what do you do?
