I have a chatbot which is a form https://riskacademy.ai/VOAO7WAB2A, it works great on the first prompt but when I ask a follow up question and therefore automatically switch to chatbot mode, it stops recognising user inputs, just doesn’t see it. See attachement
Hi @riskacademy,
Chat responses for forms works this way by design, but let me check with @nathanielmhld to see if we should start recognizing user inputs in conversations going forward.
It most definitely should not work this way. Basically chatbot responds to the initial form input and then never recognises any follow up questions, that has no practical sense
Yes, came here to report this as well. I notice that the option for form pickaxes to ‘enable chat responses’ has vanished. After the form runs its initial response it switches to chat responses by default, however whatever the users answers in the first chat the form restarts it’s prompt. It was 100% not working this way last time I looked and has affected usability of live pickaxes. Thanks!
Hi! The option has not been removed, it has just been moved!
It’s here, in the configure section for form bots.
Hi @riskacademy,
Form Pickaxes with enabled chat responses now have knowledge about the input.
Ok now I see, so I had to change my form based pickaxes to start by asking the user if they are ready to go once the form is completed, rather than just starting an process straight away. Now working nicely again. Thanks!
