So I’m building a website for my agency on Canva, and I want to embed a Pickaxe chatbot on a page. I added the “Embeds” app in Canva, but it won’t recognize the embed code I got from Pickaxe. I keep getting this message from the Embeds app: “We couldn’t embed that URL. Check you have a
complete URL starting with https:// and try again.”
Help!
Thx,
Ned
I’m not very familiar with Canva websites, so I can’t speak specifically to this issue. I can speak generally though about how embeds work.
The way people embed chabots on their website with Pickaxe is via an iFrame. This is the same way that embedded Youtube videos work. So anywhere you can embed a Youtube video, you can also embed a Pickaxe. If you can’t embed a youtube video on your Canva website, then most likely Pickaxe embeds won’t work either.
If you provide a screenshot of the message that Canva gives you when you try to embed a Pickaxe, then I might be able to provide a more specific answer.

I reached out to Canva support and it turns out there’s no way to do it. So I just changed my hosting and builder.
