User trying to cancel and cannot

User can’t figure out how to downgrade subscription back to free. I also cannot downgrade them from the new backend, because when I click the selection on the free tier it get’s selected, but the paid tier still stays selected and I cannot unselect the paid tier

Same and following! Apparently there hasn’t been a solution posted, so I contacted support.

yeah i’m super confused about this. to me it looks like Stripe and v2 aren’t connected

Huge issue here. I posted something similiar with this issue and without the connection it is posing a huge problem for both users and deployment for me as well. Hope the team tackles this ASAP, because when money is involved, users can get very riled up very quickly!!

By the way I think you should edit this and put this as a Bug/ Site Issue.

Yeah. This made me super sad to see. I was impatient and updated to V2 but it’s just been bug after bug after bug after bug. And this is such a big one it makes me very nervous.

@admin_mike this one is quite serious, a user was just charged even though he emailed me after not being able to downgrade and me not being able to downgrade from admin backend either

haha I can’t believe they shipped v2 with the entire monetization portion broken :joy: ballsy move!!!

Have you tried going to the Stripe Dashboard and cancelling their subscription?

Alternatively, they can cancel their subscription through Stripe portal by clicking the “Manage” button:

I don’t have that “Manage” at the top. This is a dummy account for testing purposes and I am a paid subscriber. And neither does my customer

Ahh got it this means the product was manually assigned to them

Not sure what that means. My customer bought it with a coupon code. And I paid full price for my own pickaxe just to troubleshoot this…that doesn’t feel “manually assigned” to me…

I can certainly control the subscription from stripe but that’s not a viable long term solution

“Manage” button on all studios should be fixed for paid users.
