Pickaxes Not Recognizing New Users

I’ve created 2 Pickaxes to be able to create two different pitches for 15 different clients. They will have separate invite-only access. When I created a test account, and began testing it, the chatbot already assumed I was complete. When I asked to show me the completed version, it completely made one up from unknown data. But when I told the chatbot that I had not created one yet, it then began 'at the beginning" and asked the correct question to begin the process.

How can I avoid this horrible user experience for my invite-only members that I am planning to invite on Monday? I want my Pickaxes to treat each member as new, and walk them through the instructions and questions I provided in the Role. I’m not sure why this is happening or what the fix is.

So as an update to my original post. After releasing these Pickaxes into the wild. I conducted a live session with 15 attendees. All of them interacted with both Pickaxes. Only 1 out of the 15 people experienced that the Pickaxe treated them as having completed their “task”. All she had to do is let the Pickaxe know she had not completed the “task” yet, and it proceeded to treat her as a new user.

I would really like to solve this glitch. If anyone at Pickaxe has any input, that would be greatly appreciated.

Obviously, for a pay-to-play version of an App, this sort of user experience is unacceptable and needs to never happen.

Hey Mark, this sounds like an issue with the prompt in the chatbot. I dont think it’s a bug. If you provide a link to the tool in the thread here, I can take a look at it.

I appreciate it Mike. I expanded testing and in the second round, I only had one of 20 users experience the “completed task” glitch. The studio is invite only for now, since I was using it with a client. But I’m working on making a more generic version that will be open to the community.
