Signup without payment

I have recently disabled the free tier and so whenever a new user signs up, they should be taken to the payment/pricing page whereby they choose the respective plan and sign up accordingly, however, currently user is able to signup and they will see 0/0 tries remaining which will confuse them.

How can we resolve this problem?

Have you thought about using Prompt engineering to direct them to the Studio? Then allow 1 or two messages instead of zero?

Yes, I tried that and users are just taking it for a spin which is obviously the idea before jumping on to the paid subscription but the thing is that they get their work done in 1-2 messages and they never subscribe. So i don’t want to allow free messages.

why dont you set a series of steps for the user/bot to HAVE to go through before getting the reponse they need, I have all of my free tier bots on lengthy sequences so the user will never receive their response within the usage frame I set for them and have to purchase if they want to get answers/content

This is just an eccentricity of the studio product. People can always create accounts in public studios, even if creating an account wont get them extra credits.

I agree to your suggestions but it doesn’t help in my use case. On the contrary, it hinders the flow.

Thank you for reply. Maybe when a new user account is created, Pickaxe can recognize that there is no credit for free users, then it sends them payment options in the email for them to considering upgrading the account. This way, it will have less free accounts and less storage problems.
